My Pay Rights

About My Pay Rights

My Pay Rights builds focused pay rights calculators for the moments that matter — being made redundant, leaving a job, working out your notice, or checking your overtime. Each tool has the relevant country's statutory rules built in, updates live as you type, and lets you download a dated PDF summary.

Why country-aware matters

Employment entitlements are set by law, and that law differs by country and changes most years. A generic answer is often wrong. We maintain the statutory figures behind each tool and cite the official source on every page so you can verify the result.

How we verify the rates

Every statutory figure — weekly pay caps, tax thresholds, benefit rates — is sourced directly from official government publications: GOV.UK, the U.S. Department of Labor, and equivalent agencies. Each tool displays the source and effective date. We review and update rates each April (UK budget cycle) and January (U.S. DOL annual update).

Who built this

My Pay Rights is built and maintained by a team with backgrounds in employment law research and software engineering. The calculators are reviewed against official guidance before each rate update is published. If you spot an error or an out-of-date figure, please email [email protected] and we will investigate within one business day.

Important

Our tools provide estimates for general information only. They are not legal, financial or tax advice. For decisions that affect your finances or employment, consult a qualified professional or the official guidance linked on each page.
